How to control indoor pollution?

You must be thinking that I am going to introduce a gadget here that makes you control indoor pollution. No I am not doing this right know but maybe doing this next if you don’t let me know either my tips here work successfully or not. So first let’s look what types of pollution remain around us at home.
  • Cooking smoke emissions and general mess
  • Vehicular emissions in garage
  • Drinking water pollution at home
  • Noise pollution in living room

To control indoor pollution we have to see its sources. In this way we would be able to remove its source. Usually the main reasons of the cooking smoke emissions and general mess are:
  • Gas stove in the kitchen: To reduce the emissions from gas stove or to make its flame balanced never compromise over the quality of stove. Don’t select the one with several fireplaces. Instead of it, pick the one with one or two fireplaces but having high quality supply line. For this just go for a branded gas stove and buy it from its genuine dealer.
  • Wrong direction of the exhaust of the kitchen: If we install the exhaust fan in the opposite direction of the air it makes our home environment smoky at the time of cooking. Therefore, install the exhaust fan with the direction of air that emits the cooking emissions outside home without any pressure.
  • Windows and ventilators without sieving grills: In dusty areas if we don’t put sieving grills over the windows and ventilators, a lot of dust may come inside. With the installation of such grills the spaciousness of the home you may feel little suffocated but their regular cleaning will not create suffocation in the home.
  • Littering of garbage: Apart from regular use of vacuum cleaner remove the garbage stuck up behind the furniture and other home equipment that may come on open floor with air pressure. So remove them with a little effort on at least weekly basis.
  • Unnecessary spray of chemical germicide: Never use any kind of germicide or insecticide unnecessarily. It is better to use any organic spray that is least harmful to our health and environment.

Vehicular emissions in garage

If you have a vehicle, keep its engine and silencer in good condition and don’t push the accelerator unnecessarily while taking your vehicle out of home garage.

Drinking water pollution at home

Make your water tank fully covered but with complete air cross. If you think your water supply service does not offer quality water so boil such water before drinking or add any harmless and authenticate water purifier after completely getting satisfied on its quality. Once in a year get the quality of your drinking water checked from any certified laboratory to continue its consumption or switch over to any other brand of the bottled water.

Noise pollution in living room

Noise pollution around you is completely under your control at home. You should either stay away from it if you can’t ask the creator of the noise pollution to stop it. Or low the voice of music player or television to lessen the noise. Moreover, avoid blowing horn of your vehicle inside your home.
