Pollution Quotes

sayings on pollution
Actions speak louder than words is a proverb that is well applied to series of pollution quotes which no doubt sensitize its readers to stand up for action against pollution but despite their huge influence one can’t deny the fact that it is time to act against pollution instead of just conducting lengthy debate on how to control it. Otherwise we would be apologizing our next generation on handing over them a polluted Earth full of pollutants and diseases. No one wants to give one’s offspring a harmful thing.
According to a famous pollution quote; “No witchcraft, no enemy action had silenced the rebirth of new life in this stricken world. The people had done it themselves”. Here again this quote itself is admitting that it is the action which mar or protect our environment and causes or remove pollution. Therefore, apart from reading discourse on various environmental issues, their solution is equally necessary.

Another quote on pollution says: ‘Raise a million filters and the rain will not be clean, until the longing for it be refined in deep confession. And still we hear, If only this nation had a soul, or, Let us change the way we trade, or, Let us be proud of our region”. Here the importance of behavioral changes for the protection and conservation of environment is pretty much clear.
We are still not waking up to fight pollution because its adverse effects appear after sizeable time and we misunderstand that it is not as harmful as is being portrayed. This quote is enough to reflect our lethargic attitude against pollution: “The most important pathological effects of pollution are extremely delayed and indirect”.
One of the best solutions of land pollution lies in reuse, reduce and recycle of civic waste – the major contributor in land pollution - because we can not dispose tons of solid waste under the soil to mar its fertility. The significance of this formula to control land pollution can be understood by this quote: “Pollution is nothing but the resources we are not harvesting. We allow them to disperse because we've been ignorant of their value”.
There is another quote: “Fresh air is good if you do not take too much of it; most of the achievements and pleasures of life are in bad air”. It also drops the hint at importance of balance approach in consumption of natural resources.
Hence there is no denying the fact that good words can play a vital role to raise awareness on harms of pollution but just poetic expressions to exaggerate the importance of an issue will not serve the purpose. For this we have to stand firmly against violations of environmental laws which are main cause of spread of pollution across the globe.
